The fourth Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA 2022, organized and promoted by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University had exceeded our expectations with more than 1.300 submissions.

Although competition was fierce, the committee’s work was successfully completed with a selection of 282 films – 141 short films and 141 student films – from 50 countries.

First of all, we would like to thank everyone who submitted their films to the ICONA festival and congratulate the final contestants.

ICONA 2021 will take place exclusively ONLINE from December 1st to December 4th 2022.
